Adbeans – Publisher Review - Best Blogs Asia
Using Adbeans as a Web Publisher programme.
AdBeans is a new and developing company in the UK which specialises in keyword promotion for advertisers and publishers. They contacted me in regards to placing their adverts on the site
Adbeans Development

I found their site useful in that:
- The give a monthly quotation of your site, based on Alexa, PR and backlinks
- Adverts need no user intervention
- Specify layout, style and colours of ads as well as how many per site
Adbeans Problems
I’ve been using Adbeans for a couple of months now but found the following problems:
- Sub-domains have to be seperately added.
- No default advert or text is shown when no ads are on the site.
- They pay in USD only, 1 payment per month (min $50) with a wait of 7 working days.
It is frustrating to use them, but the payments are very good. I’d really like to use them more in the future…

I also removed them as the ads I got are rather spammy as each one has the keyword “cheap” in the ad descriptions. Just afraid to get penalised by Google before even getting paid! You know even you make $4, you need to accumulate till $50 then you can cash out.
I don’t think you’ll get penalised by Google for it though since it’s through JS.
Actually as an update, you are right – the links come through via as dofollow links. I think Big G look down upon this if you’re selling too many paid links (how do they know though?)…perhaps its because there’s the same ads throughout the site?
I’m not sure what to do with Adbeans either. The dofollow is maybe going to be a problem, maybe not. I think I’d be inclined to say not as it’s pretty obvious which links are Adbeans links. It could go either way though. If it’s bad, take them off and I would think any penalty would be nulled. If you lose some page rank, so what anyway so long as you don’t lose traffic or rankings.

I didn’t know they use doFollow, that’s not good for Google in the long term, wondering if as a user we can edit the html. I think it’s more to do with losing position in Google rather than PR.
Hi, informative post you have here, but have you actually ever actually received any payment from this advertising company?
Thanks, Trent
Yes I have, I receive monthly payments. There are time delays such as 1 payment per month, 10 day wait then a Paypal 6 working day wait also on top but they’ve paid me every month – so I’d recommend them!
I just withdraw my 50 euro yesterday, and according to adbeans new TOS, i have to wait until 20 Dec 2009 before i could get the money. I hope adbeans paid me because i really need the money.
Yes I really trust Adbeans and for many months since the start, I’ve always been paid. As mentioned the main problem I have with them is the huge delay in actually getting paid…
