Affiliate Marketing for Blogs

Money can be made from clicks to related links, but as a main source of revenue it’s lacking. This is where Affiliate Marketing or Affiliate Schemes come in.

In relation to the Asian market, there aren’t many although I’ll provide a list of who I use later on. At the moment Best Blogs Asia has few affiliate schemes other than myself recommending sites to you.

Affiliate Rules

Check out these Affiliate Terms and also some marketers use the following rules:

  • Don’t promote rubbish, visitors who read you regularly trust you if you start promoting junk they will lose the trust.
  • Check all the affiliate links and page redirects.
  • Try to use affiliate links where you get anywhere from a 4-50% commission on the sale.
  • Outline the benefits of the Program and make sure that you’re coming across as honest.
  • Determine what works well for your blog.
