They have created something similar to Google Trends, showcasing their searches which is useful for SEO.
I’ve written about Baidu previously, it’s a huge search engine and is only getting bigger since they own the monopoly. The creation of a trends type system can only benefit people involved in SEO as we can now see what is being searched and when.

If you take a look at their index, you’ll see how similar it is to Google. There is a problem in that it does not break down its data by cities, has restrictions on the number of searchable keywords (3 at present) countries and regions and language but has the advantage of being updated more often.
It’s a statistical tool for showcasing search volumes, based on it’s web search statistics. The statistics are shown in real time, which better compared to Google whilst tracking can be made from short term to long term to a whole year.
