Get Indexed Faster on Wordpress - Best Blogs Asia
By “pinging” you are alerting more sites that you’ve updated your wordpress blog with a new post and want to get your new content indexed faster.
To get your site indexed faster, I recommend adding the following sites to your Wordpress setup. By “pinging” you are alerting more sites that you’ve updated your wordpress blog with a new post and want to get your new content indexed faster.
Wordpress setup:
Click on your ‘Settings’ tab (or ‘Options’ if you’re running an older version). Click on ‘Writing’ and then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Note:
I found that pinging too often can make sites like Google query your site and make lead to deranking/removal from their directory. This also applys to the sites you are pinging to also.

Hi, why should I add them all ? will wont be considered as spam ?
Nice list of ping servers ..soon i’ll be updating to my free ping service …
http://techhub.qsh.in/ (Currently Supports IE Only.)
I’ve seen others recommending this too, but I must say, I don’t quite get why this is necessary, or beneficial. Doesn’t Pingomatic already pass on the ping to most (all?) of these other services?
Alex, Nope it won’t be considered as spam, but everytime you make a change to your post it’s re-pinged so be careful of that.
Rod, this list is tried and tested and has more than just pingomatic. I’d also make sure your feedburner feed is accessible and links to ping sites too (although here in China feedburner doesn’t work!)
Thanks a lot for a great list. I just wonder if this list is still updated? Do most of these services still work?
BR,
Konferens
Yes they all work, I double checked them yesterday actually
I still can’t figure out how get each page indexed
Thanks
Timothy
Hi, great list but I do not see any of Googles on the list. Is that because you said they can be problematic if we ping them too often. It is just that I know they have many sites as they have so many SE’s. Cheers and thanks for the help.
