About NetEase
Founded by Ding Lei, NetEase operates a leading interactive online and wireless community in China, using the site 163.com. NetEase also own the popular Yodao/Youdao search engine which lets users search for web pages, images, news, music, blogs, Chinese-to-English dictionary entries, and more. It’s also the second-largest gaming developer after Shanda Interactive.

According to its financial report 2009, NetEase made US$117.5 million in total fourth-quarter revenues and gaming revenue increased more than 32 per cent year-on-year.
About Youdao
Youdao is a search service developed by Netease and it provides three kinds of service: web search, blog search and dictionary. Netease’s Youdao also represents China’s portal site attempts to explore the search market.
The most recent feature is a product search called Youdao Gouwu. You search for some product, it shows you available products from online shops, you can compare price and link to the shop’s website.
